TexMex flavors also go extremely well with burgers! Here’s a simple and easy recipe from Poppamies to cook one up.

  1. Mix one bag of Poppamies TexMex Tacos Spice Mix seasoning into the ground beef and shape into patties of about 100 g each.
  2. Slice the avocado thinly and cut the tomato into thin slices.
  3. Heat a frying pan and add a bit of oil.
  4. Press a small indentation into the center of each patty and fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Once the bottom is browned, flip the patty and place 1–2 slices of cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cover the pan with a lid to help the cheese melt. Fry the other side for about 2–3 minutes. Lightly toast the cut sides of the buns in the pan as well.
  7. Spread a bit of Poppamies Salsa Chunky Dip Medium or Hot on the bun base and layer on slices of avocado.
  8. Add the patty and a few tomato slices.
  9. Top with a few coriander leaves. If you like, you can also crush some nacho chips into the burger!
  10. Squeeze Poppamies Jalapeno & Cheddar Style Taco Topping on the inside of the top bun and place it on top. Then crank up the rock music and enjoy!
