Juicy ground beef burrito!

Ground beef, guacamole, dip, and the best flavors from Poppamies – all wrapped up in one burrito. Honest food with kick and taste.

Rice filling

  1. Chop the celery into small pieces and sauté them in a pot with a splash of oil.
  2. Add 3 dl of water and 2 dl of rice. Let simmer until the rice is almost done.
  3. Add 2 tbsp of Poppamies Awesome Sauce and 200 g of rinsed beans.
  4. Simmer until the excess water has evaporated.

Ground beef filling

  1. Chop one onion and two bell peppers. Add a couple tablespoons of oil to a pan and sauté the onion and peppers.
  2. When the vegetables are slightly softened, add all the ground beef and brown it.
  3. Season the mixture with 2 tbsp of Poppamies Louisiana Cajun RUB.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of tomato paste and 1 dl of water to the pan and cook until excess liquid has evaporated.

Guacamole

  1. Mash two avocados with a fork in a bowl.
  2. Add the juice of one lime, 1/2 tsp Poppamies Sriracha RUB, and 1 tbsp Poppamies Aged Jalapeno hot sauce.
  3. Mix well and cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let it chill in the fridge.

Sourcream & Onion dip

  1. Mix Poppamies Sourcream & Onion dipmix with one tub of sour cream and refrigerate.

Burrito

  1. Place ground beef filling on a large tortilla.
  2. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top.
  3. Add rice filling, guacamole, and sourcream & onion dip.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then fold the bottom up and roll tightly into a burrito!
  5. For serving, cut the burrito in half and serve with bowls of guacamole and sourcream & onion dip on the side.
