With fire-roasted vegetables, bold seasoning, and the sting of Poppamies Scorpion Hot Sauce. This soup has a velvety, spicy explosion of flavor.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • 3 ripe tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 red chilies, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, black pepper, and oregano to taste
  • 2 tbsp Poppamies Scorpion Hot Sauce
  1. Place the tomatoes, bell pepper, chilies, onion, and garlic on a baking tray.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, and oregano. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Roast in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes, until the vegetables are soft, caramelized, and slightly charred on the edges.
  4. Transfer everything — including the roasting juices — into a food processor or blender.
  5. Add Poppamies Scorpion Hot Sauce and blend until smooth and creamy.
  6. If the soup is too thick, add a little hot water or vegetable stock until you reach your desired texture.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Pour into bowls and drizzle with a few extra drops of Scorpion Hot Sauce for that fiery finish.
